Renowned actress Trisha Krishnan, often just addressed as Trisha, who recently gained further acclaim with her back-to-back hits, Ponniyin Selvan-1 and Ponniyin Selvan-2, felt the need to confront the swirling rumors about her wedding. Word had spread like wildfire on social media platforms that Trisha might be tying the knot with a prominent producer.

With chatter around Trisha’s alleged relationship with a Malayalam producer intensifying, the rumor mills went into overdrive, suggesting an impending wedding. Addressing this speculation head-on, the actress decided to put an end to it.

 

In a firm yet casual tone, Trisha, on the platform X, communicated her thoughts, “Dear, you know who you are and your team. Keep calm and stop rumouring. Cheers!” Clearly, Trisha isn’t one to let speculations about her personal life go unanswered.

Delving into her cinematic journey, Trisha made a significant impact portraying the Chola princess Kundavai in the epic Ponniyin Selvan, directed by Mani Ratnam. Interestingly, she revealed that while shaping her character for PS-2, Ratnam nudged her to derive inspiration from the former actress and stalwart Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha. In an interview with Film Companion, Trisha divulged that Ratnam urged her to internalize Jayalalitha’s demeanor, highlighting the iconic leader’s guarded emotions and distinctive style.

Looking ahead, the actress’s plate seems full. Fans eagerly await her appearance in Vijay’s upcoming film, Leo, where she’ll be seen sharing screen space with the lead actor. With Sanjay Dutt roped in as the chief antagonist, the movie is set for an October 19 release. Beyond Leo, Trisha has wrapped up shooting for “The Road” and is rumored to be the female lead in Ajith Kumar’s “Vidaa Muyarchi.” However, confirmation regarding the latter remains pending. Other ventures to watch out for include “Ram” and “Identity.”
