Ranbir Kapoor, the Bollywood luminary, never ceases to enthrall his fans. In a recent virtual interaction, he threw light on the developments of the much-awaited Brahmastra 2, stoking the anticipation even further.
Sharing a sneak peek into what the sequel holds, Ranbir conveyed that Brahmastra 2 is gearing up to be a spectacle far beyond its predecessor. “The journey of shaping Brahmastra 2 has been intense and rewarding,” shared Ranbir, “Ayan, with his visionary zeal, brought forth the script, magnifying its expanse and diving deeper into our characters’ universe.” He highlighted that director Ayan Mukerji is also engaged in another project, War 2, and aims to commence the shoot for Brahmastra’s next part either by late 2024 or early 2025.
Ranbir Kapoor candidly acknowledged the feedback from the first film. “Understanding our audience’s perspective has been pivotal. Recognizing the aspects that resonated, especially the dynamics between Shiva and Isha, has been enlightening,” he expressed. Emphasizing their commitment to taking Brahmastra to new heights, Ranbir added, “Constructive criticisms are the building blocks, guiding us to craft an experience that hopes to surpass expectations.”
Despite its diverse reception, Brahmastra, co-starring Alia Bhatt, made a mark at the box office, and fans eagerly await what the sequel unfolds. Meanwhile, Ranbir is set for the release of Animal, which promises to be another captivating cinematic chapter alongside Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.
