The acclaimed production house, Sri Venkateswara Creations, has set the stage for another enticing cinematic journey. Their new venture, “Thammudu”, starring the charismatic Nithiin and directed by the talented Sriram Venu, was launched with much fanfare today.
The launch event was graced with the presence of some of the film industry’s luminaries. Renowned financier, Prasad, marked the commencement of the movie with the traditional muhurtham shot, while director Anil Ravipudi turned on the camera. The first shot’s direction was entrusted to filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally.
“Thammudu” is a special project for Sri Venkateswara Creations, marking its 56th film under the stewardship of producer Dil Raju. Notably, the film ropes in the renowned DOP Sethu (Satyajit Pande), recognized for his exemplary work in movies like Dangal, Kahaani, and Taare Zameen Par. The regular filming is slated to kick off from September 1, with more specifics about the movie to be shared soon.
Nithiin and director Sriram Venu’s association with Sri Venkateswara Creations runs deep. This film marks Nithiin’s third collaboration with SVC, following the successes of “Dil” and “Srinivasa Kalyanam”. On the other hand, Sriram Venu has delivered hits under the SVC banner, including Nani’s “MCA” and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s “Vakeel Saab”.
