Recently, actor Harshvardhan Rane sat down for an interview and spoke about his alleged romance with actress Sanjeeda Shaikh. Though he did not go into further detail, he expressed his nonchalance towards the incessant scrutiny of his personal life. “I understand that it is part of the job for journalists to write stories and meet deadlines,” he said. He also acknowledged the press’ role in informing people on what is happening around them, but expressed regret at how certain boundaries are crossed in pursuit of sensationalism. “I understand that it’s part of a journalist’s job to provide readers with updates,” he said, “but there comes a point when they need to respect people’s right to keep their lives out of headlines.”
Rane, who has worked in several Bollywood films such as Paltan and Taish, has recently been seen on the popular television show Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai. He also starred in the 2019 movie Thappad, which was selected as India’s official entry to the 2021 Academy Awards. On being asked about his upcoming projects, he remained tight-lipped but hinted that something big is on its way.
The actor’s comments have generated a lot of buzz amongst fans worldwide about what could be in store for them from the talented actor. Commenting on this, Rane said, “I believe my work speaks for itself and I’m sure people will enjoy whatever I come up with next.”
