‘Crazy Keerthy’ Unveils Trailer: Kannada Cinema’s Newest Youth Sensation
Sandalwood’s fresh offering, ‘Crazy Keerthy,’ has finally dropped its trailer, capturing the imagination of its target audience – the youth. With a diversified range of movies making their way into Kannada cinema, from mass entertainers to religious tales, the genre of youth-centric films is certainly looking up.
Produced under the banner of Priya Balaji Productions, the film is the brainchild of debut director and producer, Balaji Madhav Shetty. The trailer, now live on YouTube and various social media platforms, provides a glimpse into the vibrant and energetic world of college students, sprinkled with a touch of romance.
Speaking about his directorial venture, Shetty commented, “It’s a project close to my heart and tailored for the young generation. Our film is buoyed by its soulful music and the guidance of the renowned director, Om Prakash Rao.”
Om Prakash Rao, who not only plays a pivotal role in the film but also mentored Shetty in the filmmaking process, remarked, “After hearing the script and the role they envisioned for me, I was on board. Collaborating on this film during the trying times of the pandemic felt special. I believe our lead, Abhilash, has a promising career ahead. Every actor in the film has showcased commendable talent.”
The movie sees Abhilash in the leading role with Sarika Rao essaying the character of Keerthi. Risha Gowda steps in as the second leading lady. Alongside them, the film boasts of seasoned actors like Rangayana Raghu and Sudha Belavadi. Laya Kokila has lent her musical prowess to craft the film’s soundtrack.
