Sharing her thoughts, Anupriya reflected, “Right from my early days, I was crystal clear about what I could and couldn’t do on-screen. Independent and arty cinema was where my heart lay. But, back in 2012-2013, such genres often came with demands for complete surrender, sometimes even nudity. While I respected the vision of these filmmakers, I always stayed true to my own boundaries.”
She emphasized the importance of trust in the filmmaking process, saying, “Intimate scenes? Sure, but there needs to be trust between the actor and director. For me, it’s crucial to understand that my role is beyond just those scenes.”
