She recounted, “While I was in college, after a visit to a friend’s house, I was returning home in an auto. Another passenger soon boarded. Without any warning or right, he laid his hands on me.” Her immediate instinct was to demand the auto halt, confronting the man, “What bro? Why do you behave this way in an auto?” She narrated how the auto driver, recognizing the impropriety of the situation, promptly reprimanded the man and ensured he exited the vehicle.
