Tamil film actor Abbas recently opened up about his strained relationship with Thupparivaalan star Vishal. In an interview with Galatta Tamil, the Pudhupettai actor explained that things hadn’t been amicable between them for a while. It all began a few years ago during the second season of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) when Vishal started “spreading lies” about Abbas and “corrupted others.”
However, despite the drama, Abbas declared he had forgiven Vishal a long time ago. The actor also said that should he ever cross paths with his former colleague again, he would greet him cordially – but not form a close bond. He clarified that although he has forgiven Vishal, they would never be on good terms as before.
Abbas’s comments come at a time when both actors are in the prime of their careers and have been part of some highly successful projects recently. The actor is all set to act in upcoming films like ‘Andhaghaaram’ and ‘Ratchasi 2’. On the other hand, Vishal is currently busy filming his next project Naragasooran while also spearheading the Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council (TFPC).
Actor Abbas had large ambitions when he arrived in New Zealand. His plan was to start a business with his wife at the helm. When that didn’t work out, he was willing to do whatever it took to sustain himself; even if it meant driving a cab.
He recounted his experiences, saying, “I ended up doing all sorts of odd jobs, from working at petrol pumps to construction sites. I wouldn’t use the restroom provided at these places – instead, I would buy something from nearby gas stations and use their restroom. People there would often think they had seen me somewhere before and wonder – I would just laugh and say yes!”
