Bollywood’s beloved Dhanush is not just ringing in his impressive fiftieth film as the leading man with D50, but he’s also donning the director’s cap for it! The film, buzzing in production for the last few months, is on the brink of completion. Though the team has played it coy with their updates, the grapevine suggests the movie’s post-production will kick off soon.
And talk about star power! D50 boasts of a stellar ensemble that includes not just Dhanush but also the likes of S. J. Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Nithya Menen, Aparna Balamurali, Dushara Vijayan, Anikha Surendran, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. With such a lineup, fans are undeniably in for a cinematic treat.
But wait, there’s more on Dhanush’s platter. Plans for his next venture, D51, have been unveiled. This tri-lingual magic in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi will be directed by the esteemed Shekhar Kammula. Paired with the talented Rashmika Mandanna and with the legendary Nagarjuna in a pivotal role, filming is slated to commence in February 2024.
However, before we dive into the D51 frenzy, there’s the highly anticipated historical war epic, Captain Miller, set to hit the silver screen on December 15th.
